Cecelia Wilson
For more than a decade, Cecelia Wilson has been the Feature Writer for Searcy Living. In that capacity, she has interviewed Governors, Senators, Grammy-award winning musicians and individuals from all walks of life, penning their stories of hope and inspiration.
From Country and Bluegrass music superstars, Charlie Daniels and Ricky Skaggs to Searcy’s own, Gov. Mike and First Lady Ginger Beebe, the late Arkansas Lt. Gov. Win Rockefeller, Gov. Mike Huckabee and so many more in between, each has talked with Cecelia on matters political, personal and always fascinating to the readers of Searcy Living.
Writing stories that leave readers touched by what they've read is one of Cecelia Wilson's hallmarks. And those stories will keep you coming back to Searcy Living each issue.
Want to read more? Cecelia’s book, “Back to Bremen” depicts the true, World War II story of Marta Röpke, a common mother who risks everything to see that her children survive the war that has come to her doorstep. A different perspective of the war in Germany (the Röpkes were not Jewish), the story is a vivid reminder that war creates countless victims, but a mother’s love can turn a common woman into a heroine.
