Who is the Searcy Living team?

Christine Walker
As the Publisher of Searcy Living, Christine's passion is the magazine and the community of Searcy. Christine strives to see the magazine grow and mature through the years, listening to reader comments and concerns regarding the magazine. Christine is part of many organizations in the Searcy community and takes part in many charitable functions and events throughout the years.

Christine received the Searcy Businesswoman of the Year Award in 2005 for her hard work and dedication to the business.

Searcy Living also received the Governor's Quality Award in 2003 and the CASA Community Award in the same year.

Cecelia Wilson
As the Feature Writer for Searcy Living, Cecelia Wilson has interviewed individuals from all walks of life to pen their stories of hope and inspiration. From organ transplant recipients to World War II POWs, everyday neighbors have shared with her their emotional tales of courage, proving that heroes truly live quietly among us.

Celebrity stories fill the pages of Searcy Living as well. Dave Pelzer, one of California's youngest child abuse victims, discussed with Cecelia how he overcame a life broken and in despair to become a motivating speaker and Pulitzer Prize nominee. And Country and Bluegrass music superstar, Ricky Skaggs, shares his message of faith and harmony. From American Family Association's Tim Wildmon to Arkansas' former Lt. Gov. Win Rockefeller, Senator Blanche Lincoln and former National Homeland Security Undersecretary Asa Hutchinson, each has talked with Cecelia on matters political and personal and always fascinating to the readers of Searcy Living.

Writing stories that leave readers touched by what they've read is one of Cecelia Wilson's hallmarks. And those stories will keep you coming back to Searcy Living each issue.

Garrett Johnson
As the Advertising Art Director and Webmaster of Searcy Living, Garrett strives toward creating ads that make businesses and Searcy Living stand out as a beacon in our community. He also builds the covers each issue. On the web, Garrett designs and develops SearcyLiving.com and hopes it can provide usable information to enrich people's lives.

Stephanie McInturff
Stephanie is a lifelong resident of Searcy and has deep community roots. These roots give her a passion for serving the community and her job entails networking with charitable organizations, nurturing customer relationships and bringing marketing expertise to the Searcy Living advertising family.

Ikey Ray
Searcy Living's unconditional love for the community and professionalism is what Ikey says motivated him to want to be apart of it. He is a full time student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He plans to major in Kinesiology and hopefully minor in Computer Science. His passion for graphic design aids his unique style as a designer. However, designing isn't the only thing he contributes to the magazine. He also writes extremely informative articles with a strong knowledge on sports and/or exercise.

Cherie Sewell
Editorial Assistant for the magazine.

Christine Locke
Makeover coordinator.

What are the magazine's credentials?
We are a member of the National Federation of Independent Businesses and our team has been honored individually and as a whole with awards such as the Arkansas Quality award in 2003. We are very active in the community and are proud to be independently and locally owned and operated.
