MUTE MATH - Self Titled by Garrett Johnson
I'm always impressed by secular music that has positive messages. If you mix the voice of Sting, a dash of Pink Floyd, some indie rock like Death Cab for Cutie, and the quirkiness of the Eels, you get Mute Math. While the strongest songs are "Typical" with the lyrics "There's got to be another level, somewhere closer to the other side" and "Control" with the words, "Move me up through the darkest clouds till I've lost in the sun every shadow of doubt" you should get the entire album because it's filled with beautiful music and higher vision. Five Stars.
