CHOCOLATE MOUSSE (MOUSE) PIE



PIE CRUST
2 Cups Crushed Oreo Cookies
1/4 Cup Sugar
2-3 Tablespoons Melted Butter

PIE FILLING
8 oz. Hershey's Chocolate Bar
1-1/2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
1/2 Cup Milk
2 Cups Cool Whip

MOUSE
3-4 Chocolate Kisses
3-4 Maraschino Cherries
1/4 Cup Melted Chocolate Chips
6-8 Almond Slices
1 Tube Red Gel


CRUST
In a mixing bowl combine crushed Oreos and sugar; mix well. Add melted butter and toss thoroughly to combine. Turn the chocolate crumb mixture into a 9 inch pie plate. Spread the mixture evenly into the pie plate. Press onto bottom and sides to form a firm even crust. Chill for one hour or until firm.

FILLING
Place candy bar, marshmallows, and milk in a heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat. Stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Cool; then fold in Cool Whip. Pour into crust. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.

MOUSE
Unfoil kisses. Dry cherries. Microwave chocolate chips 30 seconds or until melted. Dip cherry into melted chocolate until well coated. Place cherry to chocolate kiss bottom side placed on wax paper. Dip two almond slice ends into melted chocolate and place between kiss and cherry. Add eyes with red gel. Let sit 5-10 minutes. Place on top of pie.
