SEARCY, AR - Zion Climbing Center has partnered with Impact 360, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit martial arts organization, to form Searcy Youth Neighborhood Community (SyNC) After School program. The program is open to all kindergarten through eighth grade aged youth in the Searcy area and will follow the Searcy Public School District's Calendar. SyNC will not meet when Searcy schools are closed due to inclement weather or holidays. Students registered with the program will be exposed to a wide variety of physical activity opportunities. Zion Climbing Center offers 17 ft top rope walls and large bouldering spaces and the student is taught various Martial Arts and Self Defense techniques at Impact 360. All events are monitored by trained staff of the respective organizations. SyNC costs $150 a month, per child, to participate and registration is always open. The fee includes all activities, snacks and field trips. For an additional $30 per month transportation from a Searcy area school to SyNC can be provided. SyNC meets at both Zion Climbing Center as well as the Impact360 facilities (located at the Downtown church of Christ). "SyNC is an excellent 'out of the box' opportunity for the students and an affordable and safe option for the parents." said Zion PR representative Aaron Landry.
