SPICE UP FALL WITH NEW PUMPKIN PIE ICE CREAM

Searcy, Arkansas - Tuesday, September 08, 2009 - Yarnell's Ice Cream has just released new Pumpkin Pie ice cream as their 2009 fall feature flavor.

The ice cream was created as a limited edition flavor just for the fall, and is made with real pumpkin puree, spices and blended with pie crust pieces. According to Jeff Holtz, Director of Yarnell's R&D, it contains "just the right amount of spices & flavor to give it the authentic taste of mom's pumpkin pie, fresh out of the oven."

Yarnell's customers may remember the flavor, as a similar Pumpkin Pie flavor was made available in the fall of 2006 and 2007. Due to the flavor's popularity and requests received, Yarnell's brought it back to life for 2009. Yarnell's typically offers their customers a different limited edition feature flavor every 3-4 months to keep their fans excited about the brand.

"We love pumpkin pie, and it's definitely a spectacular way to celebrate fall, enjoy the change in season and of course, all the great football," said Christina Yarnell, CEO of Yarnell's Ice Cream.

Yarnell's Pumpkin Pie ice cream is available in a 1.5 quart carton. It can be purchased in local grocery freezer aisles throughout the region at a suggested retail price of $4.99. To find out more call 1-800-927-6355 or visit www.yarnells.com
