Little Rock, AR, April 2, 2009: MDA and LOWE'S Home Improvement Stores across the country have once again teamed up through the Shamrocks against Dystrophy program. Stores sold green, gold, and platinum Shamrocks for a donation to MDA during this one-month promotion. Lowe's Store #1775 in Searcy , AR had a strong start and finished in a big way, #1 in the country. This year, the Searcy LOWE'S beat out Burbank, CA. by raising $19,057.13. To put it into perspective: Burbank , CA population by the 2007 census is estimated at 108,000 to Searcy's 15,000.
