ASU-Beebe: Faculty Art Exhibit at England Center Gallery 

The England Center Art Gallery will be displaying faculty artworks through Tuesday, February 28.  Admission is free to view the artworks at the gallery.

BEEBE, Ark.–The Arkansas State University–Beebe Art Department will feature artworks of Lisa Floryshak, instructor of art, and Karen Jones, instructor of graphic design, in an exhibit to be on display through February 28 in the England Center Art Gallery.


Floryshak, who teaches ceramics I and II, painting I and II, and fine arts classes, has showcased some of her ceramic pieces in the exhibit. Jones teaches a variety of classes in graphic design. Her works include advertising designs, sculptures, drawings and paintings.


ASU-Beebe is the only two-year college in central Arkansas that offers an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree. The AFA degree has an emphasis in vocal music or instrumental music, theater, graphic design, or creative arts enterprise. This degree is a comprehensive two-year curriculum designed specifically for transfer toward a bachelor’s degree in fine arts.


The England Center Art Gallery exhibits works of art by students and featured artists throughout the academic year. The gallery, located at 201 N. Orange Street in Beebe, is free admission and open to the public, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact the gallery at (501) 882-4495.
