Searcy Living wasn't what Publisher Christine Walker had in mind when she started the Coupon Gazette here in Searcy eight years ago. God has a way of using small ideas and making them into His tools to touch people's lives. Searcy Living, which is entirely owned and operated locally, is made possible by the great advertisers and the dedicated readers who call this town their hometown. In just these few years, the publication has grown to a full-size, full-color magazine that reaches more than 35,000 people in the Searcy and White County area. The magazine is delivered to more than 5,000 homes with around 10,000 distributed to stands and businesses all over Searcy, Beebe, Bald Knob, Pangburn, Kensett and surrounding areas. The magazine has received many honors including the Arkansas Quality Award for business excellence. Along with the magazine's growth, many lives have been touched through the magazine's mentoring programs and civic pledges. There are no limits to what God can do through Your Hometown Magazine's ministry and it will be exciting to see what He has in store.
